CJ!!! Thank U for the awesome pictures!
God, he's got a total different look in this show, he's almost a serious guy Do U know which was the line-up he played with? I know Cora is on drums and Renato on keyboards, but what about the others? Thank U

Did he play guitar at all? I'm surprised that none of the pictures I've seen from this show have him playing guitar.

These pictures are amazing! I so wish I was there. Prince needs to mess around here in NYC NOW!!! I'm not a fan of "old Prince". I'm not a fan of "new Prince". I'm just a fan of Prince. Simple as that

If U were, what kind of impressions? Yes, I was there. It was 5 years since the last time I saw Prince so it was really great to see him again in Switzerland. I already had my tickets for 3 London shows and 2 aftershows before the announcement that he will be in Montreux, so it was a great bonus having one more show near home. The first part was done especially for Montreux with 30 min jazz with some Prince solos on guitar, but mostly it was the band playing. After that, it was a usual concert. The concert lasted approximatively 2h15 mins. After that, there was another 30min aftershow at the Montreux Jazz Café. It was possible to be near the stage and I was approximatively 3 meters from him. It's so great to have the possibility to see one of your favorite artist so close. Stadium concerts are great shows but they don't have the feeling of much smaller venue like the Montreux Jazz Café or the Indigo in London. The 2 concerts were great. You can feel that Prince is on a new level as a musician, but I miss his dancing moves of the 80s and 90s and some songs that he won't play anymore.

Great revue! Were U at the One Nite Alone Tour in Zurich in 2002? I saw him in Milan the next day!

Hi Sophianestesia Yes, I was there too. Great concert too as far as I can remember (The version of Sometimes it snows in april with the snow on the screen was beautiful). 2002 and then 2007, I hope the next time he will be in Switzerland (and in Europe in general) will be before 2012. The more you see him live, the more you want to see him ! Theride71
