I know a lot about Prince's music, but very litle about his personal life, simply because it's not my business.

But did prince do a lot of drugs, or smoke back in the day?

If so what drugs did they take, they seem to have no effect on him at all, ageing wise.

They do say that a bad experience with E made him change his mind about releasing The Black Album and go and recored and release Lovesexy instead.

But who knows??? Many have at least smoked pot once in their lives and you have to remember that he was surrounded with drugs as are many rock stars.

i think he hid,because i realy think that psychodelic influanced music(cream,jimi hendrix expiriance,santana,sly)must be influanced by drugs.
they would never sound that way if they didn't use drugs.
prince drug influanced music may be around the world in a day,family album,parade...

Remember the video of James Brown calling him and MJ to come on stage and jam!? Prince comes riding in on the back of that big dude who was always around him during the Purple Rain days. Entering the stage he almost tears down a lamppost or something like that. Some would say that he was just drunk or maybe he was just himself (!?), but he was wiping his nose as if something went up that way.

I wouldn't be surprised if he has tried a little something of everything. Those were the days and his approach to many things was experimental and fearless... If he burned his fingers on E, good for him (and us)!

I am pretty sure he has never done drugs, and I know he doesn't smoke.

He's about as clean as you can get, and always has been.

Im not going to use that rumour of ''He took E thats why he changed his mind to release the black album'' its not a fact till we've heard it come from his mouth.

But who actually knows? I personally think he hasnt. Its all about how the man is right now; not what he did in the past.

Can I take that as a yes?

Look at Prince, LISTEN 2 his music, look at his lifestyle.
Does ANY of this suggest drug use?
