"I anticipate a few turbulence along the way"? Is that gramatically correct? I've been on several flights, and all I can ever recall hearing a pilot say was they were anticipating "some" turbulence, I don't think there was ever a number attached.
Just one of those questions that's been kinda lingering in the back of my mind for 25-some-odd years. When I was younger I remember thinking, "maybe he means he's anticipating a few TURBULENTS." break THE purple GoD

LMAO, I always thought that, too. Glad to know I'm not the only one that's had that in the back of their mind for 25 years!
I know it's bad grammar, but it's cute.

I don't know if cute is the word for a bumpy ride or not? "The Lion Sleeps Tonight...

It is absolutely not grammatically correct. And I laugh my ass off every time I hear it. We don’t mourn artists because we knew them. We mourn them because they helped us know ourselves.

I think P just dug the WAY it sounded. SynthiaRose said "I'm in love with blackguitaristz. Especially when he talks about Hendrix."
nammie "What BGZ says I believe. I have the biggest crush on him." http://ccoshea19.googlepa...ssanctuary http://ccoshea19.googlepages.com

It was probably another case similar to the "of all the people in this world," Kate Bush 'debacle.' Ignorance is bliss! break THE purple GoD

Could you explain what you mean here? Thanks.

No, should be "I anticipate a bit of turbulence along the way". Ask Kate Bush...
