"I anticipate a few turbulence along the way"?

Is that gramatically correct? I've been on several flights, and all I can ever recall hearing a pilot say was they were anticipating "some" turbulence, I don't think there was ever a number attached.

Just one of those questions that's been kinda lingering in the back of my mind for 25-some-odd years. When I was younger I remember thinking, "maybe he means he's anticipating a few TURBULENTS."

LMAO, I always thought that, too. Glad to know I'm not the only one that's had that in the back of their mind for 25 years!

I know it's bad grammar, but it's cute.

It is absolutely not grammatically correct. And I laugh my ass off every time I hear it. lol

It was probably another case similar to the "of all the people in this world," Kate Bush 'debacle.' Ignorance is bliss!

No, should be "I anticipate a bit of turbulence along the way". Ask Kate Bush...
