My mom likes Prince, we went to Musicology together in D.C., and she was overly delighted, and still talks about it.

My 94 year old grandma (God rest her soul) also liked watching Prince videos with me. One of my fondest memories is of us sitting down together one afternoon watching the live in Las Vegas DVD and the Hits video a few months before she died. I recall her saying:

"Hmph. Look at 'im. I bet he was right ho'ish when he was young. He ain't got them deep set eyes for nothin', but he is a right talented little fella!"
