UK Magazine THE FACE

Prince was interviewed in this magazine -which has now folded- in either 1990 or, 1989. Can anyone remember which year, and issue it was?

Prince was never interviewed in The Face magazine, although he was the subject of articles.

The Prince lookalike, Guner B, appeared on the front of Select magazine in July 1990:

The magazine ran an article but did not interview Prince.

Sorry. Obviously having a 'senior moment'. I do recall him on the cover though, and I'm sure there were some very nice pictures of Paisley Park, both exterior and interior. Is that correct, and if so, any ideas of which issue it was?

biggrin

No need to apologise. I'd have to have a good rummage to track this down (all my magazines are stashed away currently), but I'm sure someone will identify this.

Cheers. Could have sworn there were pictures of Paisley Park in that magazine ... But then it was a long time ago. Probably a different magazine perhaps? I do recall, however, that one of the exterior pictures had a light blue tint. Ring any bells?

Noooo ... The pictures were taken during the day! Like through a filter, or some such. It isn't terribly important, except that the pics were great and, I believe it was the first time I had seen professional pics of Paisley Park. I remember the lawns had been manicured to within an inch of their life and, there was a stairwell and it -the pic- was from an angle/location that I haven't seen since. Just wish I could remember the publication it/they were in.
