Is there any thing new on One Man Jam? I have the album "94 East: Minneapolis Genius", and was wondering if there was anything new (with Prince playing on it) on the new "One Man Jam" album. I've seen the track listing, and there are more songs than 94E:MG, but do any of these feature Prince at all? Does anyone strongly recomend or discourage buying this album? There is a new guitar solo by Prince somewhere on the disc. I was at Pepe Willie's house once and he played the solo for me alone with no other instruments and I must say that it was a damn cool little piece. At the time he told me I was the first person to have heard it besides him. I haven't picked up the disc yet, but I probably will. . I have it, its a good LP.
I love "Just another sucker" Prince co-composed that track and pre4med it. It sounds like a "For You" outtake. "If you see me" is the best song in this LP but I think he play in it. You can hear Prince say "Wait a sec" in the "I'll always love you" intro. But I guess ya'll already knew that

Here it is officially from Pepe's website:
The songs we will be releasing on our new CD are all new EXCEPT for 2 songs we know you have been looking forward to hearing. The songs, 10:15 and Fortune Teller, were recorded in the early 80s by 94 East -- to be released on the Polydor label. They were never released. 94 East hired Prince to record tracks on these songs. We have updated the songs but have kept Prince's tracks. And the songs are hot! Many of the books that talk about Prince's career include references to these songs. Well, your wait is over. The guitar solo I heard is from 10:15. This means that only two of the songs on the disc feature Prince.

I haven't listened to it,
but I did compare tracklistings with the 2CD symbolic beginnings CD, and the tracks listed on both are IDENTICAL, just in a different order (no extra tracks on One Man Jam).
