I Just Saw It 4 Like The First Time. I Thought It Was Kool. But When I Loked It Up On The Internet, Alot Of People Back In The Day Didnt Like It. It Got Like A C+ Rating.

When I Told My Mom I Was Gonna Watch It Shii Said I Might Not Understand It Cuz Most People Didnt In The 80's. But Then I Watched It And I Understood It Perfectly. I Thought The Black And White Effect Was A Nice Touch 2.

I Told My Sister 2 Watch It Wit Mii And It Completly Went Over Her Head. I Was like The Only One Laughing. And The Crazy Thing Is Shii Was Born In 1980!! So I Was Shocked That Shii Didnt Get It And I Did..Its Weird. But Then Again Shii Not Really Into Prince That Much. But I Still Dont See Why People Didnt Like It. I Thought It Was Fire!!

I Also LoVeD The Soundtrack!! Under The Cherry Moon, Christopher Tracys Parade, Boys And Girls, Sometimes It Snows In April, Etc.

in a way this is a old ass post ..and ppl who really know movies ..knows it rating Tripple A plus .....and yes i am a card holder ...

Hey good for you, its a great movie, and Prince is so funny in this! And so so gorgeous! I watch it quite often, the music is excellent!

The critic on this piece, while funny, is a retard! He starts talking about how macho Christopher is and there is so much testosterone emitting from Prince's character, but then goes on to say that he has a head band made from Liberace's cumberbund and then says he is the equivalent to a gay midget!( ).....(that shit is funny). But still this guy didn't get it!!

Although the critic was right in one regard....Prince is kind of a "Pompous Ass"!

I'd like to see it again someday...I Lost the tape in the 90's...haven't seen it since.
