The Dance is an incredible song and both versions kick my ass. Where the 3121 version is concerned, I love the beauty of this song. It just feels so dark yet romantic and sad. Someone said they could see a video with people doing The Tango to this song and I can see the same thing or anything involving ballroom. And that scream, my God everytime I get to that part I have to rewind my CD or iPod cause that's the Prince I know and love RIGHT THERE! That's the Scream of Pain and Passion right there and only Prince can do it like that! Damnit I'm gonna have to play The Dance right now!

Also I have read that the Dance was an Emancipation outtake that he released just a couple of years later on the Chocolate Invasion.

Mani although has pretty hair, seemed slim in the hips, and I have always heard was rather shy and reserved dancer.

This song is "The Bomb" and the crescendo climax that it builds up to has left me emotionally exhuasted on several occasions
