Hey Purple Party People,
I thought this radio special might be of interest to all of you. On Sunday, August 3, from Noon to 1 PM, I’ll be filling in for some of my fellow WBAI producers (the Beyond The Pale crew) and I’ll be doing a special on Prince and his rare B-Sides. I’ll play, in chronological order of release, most of his B-sides (the ones that I think are top notch and that can be played on radio these days) and I’ll give out some background information on each one that I play.

I just listened to "B" Sides today...and I almost started a thread about, "GOD"

Which is truly the simplest most beautiful worship or appreciation song that I have ever heard...

I Love Gospel, however when it comes to a song that just says it...That is the one...and Prince sings so beautifully, that when you hear it...Ya know that he's straight from the Father's hand.

I've been listening 2 those WBAI radio specials, since dec 0f 1985. Anthony Sloan did the two hour b-sides special with interviews interspersed in between those songs. I was only a Prince fan for a year and a half, at the time. This b-side special will bring back those fond memories. I think that the boys and grils of the new boogie groove have done a great job with the legacy of Prince's career.....Bobby
