So we're moving our music studio into a new location this week. I have an original SOTT concert poster circa '87 that is one of the large ones (like 58" x 67" or something ... It's big).

So I ordered about 10 more of that same size of various bands like Bob Dylan, Metallica, Hendrix, Red Hot Chilli Peppers, etc., to cover the walls of the lesson area.

Me and my kids had just finished hanging all the posters and the guy laying the carpet walks over to the lesson side and starts looking at all the posters.

I hear him saying "cool", "oh man, I love this band", etc.

He gets to the Prince poster, cocks his head and says to me "What's this doing here, he doesn't fit". LOL

I had to explain that he was as bad a guitar player as anyone on the wall. Don't think it sunk in. He just turned and went back to laying the carpet.

I say GIVE him some examples rather than trying to explain.

Some people just aren't familiar with Prince's work...They don't know what they are missing.

If this ever happens again, just politely go put on Chaos and Disorder and then go back ad watch his head start boppin.
