I'm on an XP WME machine playing it right now. I was doing a Google search for the walk through when I found this. I've had it forever and have never finished it. Anyone else?? PRINCE IS UNFUKWITABLE!!

I could never finish it 'legitimately' because the safe/D & P puzzle in the studio would never work right I had to go snooping on the disc to watch the end, which kinda felt like cheating I love my computer... It's where all my friends live

I think it had that tip in the readme file included on the CD-ROM. Just somewhere in the middle,
Not too good and not too bad.

I have the original game disc from back in the day. Hadn't played it in years but after seeing this thread I decided to pop it in a PC - worked fine on XP apart from being very small - I probably need to change the screen resolution to 'Stone Age'

Odd coincidence - I'd never seen the game on a torrent site before until it was posted the same day this thread started.

If you have a mac, u can just stick it in and open 'Hidden' goodies from the folder. Without having to go through all the shit graphics.. "My God it's full of Stars"

I remember seeing it for sail in the NPG shop in London... Knew I should have got it then... just seemed a bit expensive (and my PC at the time was so rubbish...)

I bought it years ago and managed to finish it - a bit fiddly in places though. It's gathered dust on the shelf until I've just read this thread. Popped it in, runs like a dream on my Dell XP pc - but it's like starting all over, I can't remember what to do! Oh well, it won't be boring, just finishing it in 1 go! then we'll try to imagine... what silence looks like

Huge thanks to Negs, I can now play the game.
I bought it off Ebay a long time ago but could not to get it to work.It does appear on Ebay every now and then and quite cheap if you are lucky. I can play it now but the safe is a tricky as ever, even in the correct resolution. I pull the right symbol to the lock but once I let go it comes up as another symobol on the dial and I get the wrong piece of music indicating I chose the wrong piece of the safe. Oh well, at least I had a great stroll down memory lane.

You do?? Tell me more. Anyhow to everyone else.., I picked it up off eBay a long time ago as well. I have 4 pieces and that damn safe is giving me the blues. I had to go look up the stuff on a cheats page - a walk through actually. I would link it but I do not know if that's allowed. Just search 'prince interactive walk through' (or interactive walk through) and you should see it. HELP in this darned safe. What am I doing so wrong?!?!. Otherwise, I see a lot of stuff I missed and I am glad others here can take a stroll back down memory lane with me. Was talking to my Chi-town P fan and she never finished it either. (laughs) PS - who still has the original box? (raises hand and says) MEEEEE!! [Edited 7/4/08 14:02pm] [Edited 7/4/08 14:03pm] PRINCE IS UNFUKWITABLE!!

The probelm is that although we all know the symbols to complete the safe and drag them to the right spot, another symbol gets registered when you let go
If anyone figures it out, please let me know.

Yep, I let go and another symbol falls in the spot. I gave up on the game entirely now. I'll get back to it in about 10 yrs. PRINCE IS UNFUKWITABLE!!
