Prince is who he is, and always he will be Prince, with his living, wrong or right stuff

There is no longer need for alternate persona's; most of the named persona's were created in a time when he did not want to detract from an artist that played one of his songs (Joey Coco/Jamie Starr), when his got a kick out of fucking with the critis and audiences (Camille) or when he was going through a phase, like his fight with WB.

Ever since, Prince has grown and besides that, he has found that most his 'off'-music (non-hit material) is lapped up by a hungry audience anyways, so why bother? Stuff like N.E.W.S. and Xpectation is now just distributed straight to the adoring masses.
