Isn't Minneapolis supposed to be cold? why are their several ladies in the front row wearing bikinis?

i suppose they were thinking Prince would ask them for a shag or something.

The girl in the bikini with the so-called "fuck me" eyes was Kirk Johnson's sister. One of the little girls dancing on stage is Kirk's daughter.

I don't know in this case, but Prince has been known to hire models/standins for the front row of some of his videos.

Boy, I guess my memory isn't so good! I was there and DO NOT remember anyone in a bikini! It was really cold outside that night and some of the girls were a little underdressed, but I cetainly would have remebered someone in a bikini! I'm in the video, but you can only see my if you go frame by frame as Price is body surfing his way to his piano!! Hahaa! It was alot of fun, but not one of his best concerts by any means! He was trying to make it look good for the cameras, not for the crowd of fans, some whom had waited in the cold for hours to see him! But, it was worth the $$ and a night I'll never forget! I miss Paisley!!

The funny thing is about that girl that shakes her boobs is that i saw her website one time, i cant remember her name thou, ha ha

I was there but being a 6 ft. good looking black man in a suit no less, they edited my azz if they filmed me at all.

The crowd in the Rave 2000 video are a joke! Such a middle class, middle-aged crowd. They were all just waving their arms kinda half-assed, if at all.

That fat gay bloke especially, u know the one?

lol I don't think anyone was in bikinis. I have a few friends that went, they said it was so damn hot in PP that night that girls were taking off their shirts. So I guess it's bras you are seeing not bikinis.
And from what I understand they had to wait in the cold for hours and then were packed in PP so I guess many were just worn out

I get more tired just standing for 6 hours without alcohol. And you couldn't dance and relax because you would lose your spot. The show was really good and I'm in it in 2 scenes- when Lenny walks out with Prince and when Prince is carried to the piano. I touched him I was so close. The crowd was great but the show was still going at 3am and we had waited since about 5pm the day before. Nobody can keep standing that long. A little booze might have helped or at least been a distraction from my sore feet. The show was cool, better than the edited video and it was cool to talk to George Clinton, Billy Sparks, star Jones,Lenny, some of the NPG and just to be there was great. 1999 was one of the first records I bought, so this was pretty cool to see him play it in the year 1999. My only complaint was that there were too many guests and not enough Prince, but that's been the case for quite some time.

I was there, you can only see my hands during The Time performance, which was filmed the nite before. Also during that part of the taping there were certain "guests" placed in the front rolls. they were too funny to watch... as the cameraman went by they would start to scream and holla until he was gone, then went back to their conversation.
The best part of that nite was when Prince came out with his Royal Velvet cape complete with a few patches to sing with The Time. I think it was Cool that he sang with them.

the second nite was filled with many guest, while we fans waited and hoped to get in. by the end of the nite all who waited finally did get in.

I remember seeing Ricco the Artist there, didnt know him then only that he too was from Detroit, Loved those pants !
