The first time I heard P Control, I was a little put off cause I thought it was rude to name a girl pussy,but then I listened to it closer,and realized that he was saying that woman should know that they have a certain power,and that we should make sure that we use it. I'm with you on that one. However, the term "Girl Power" was first coined by Prince over 20 years ago when he wrote that tune for Sheila E. The expression then got hijacked by the Spice Girls and the media before it became a universal cliche. [Edited 7/28/08 13:43pm] | |

I'm with you on that one. However, the term "Girl Power" was first coined by Prince over 20 years ago when he wrote that tune for Sheila E. The expression then got hijacked by the Spice Girls and the media before it became a universal cliche.
