my sister waz n the jr. section of jc penny and she saw a prince tshirt. usually she's not very enthusiastic about my prince fandom...but its really rare tht u c Prince stuff where i live so i usually have 2 get it over the internet. neway she told me she waz real xcited 4 me so she bought it and surprised me with it wen she came home tht nite....i waz happy wen i saw it tht i screamd and ran around the house.

Is the new shirt part of JCPenny's back to school promotion? If it is, then it would seem logical. There is a series of new JCPenny commercials that are a retelling of "The Breakfast Club."

JCPenny is going retro mid-1980s with their back to school sale.

Yeah, they've been selling vintage "rock" T-shirts for a few years now. I bought the same shirt in purple a while ago, but I must admit, I like the white one better.

It's funny, cause my 18 yr old daughter showed up yesterday with a led Zeplin t-shirt that she bought from JC Penny. I told her to name one ledZepplin song. She just looked at me blankly and laughed and said she just liked the shirt. I hope no teenagers buy Prince shirts for the same reason.

I'm sure it is not authentic. Look at inside label....if it reads made in China, USA, etc. that is an indication it's not original. For the most part his tee shirts will have ....copyright(the circle c).

I have seen Rock Band T-shirt's in JC Penny, and have yet to see this Prince T-shirt...I have the same ear ring.

As I have been shopping over the years in stores with Music Paraphenalia...I haven't seen hardly any Prince merchandise...I am hoping that will change. I have to be honest....I am not crazy about the Photo T's...I always liked the Photo buttons, and the postcards...however I always thought the simpler T-shirts...where every band is concerned are nicer.

I do like the Prince in Hawaii T. Because it's a mixture of Black, Gray and Purple...

Maybe it's the amount of shades on a photo print...on cloth, that can be...too contrasting or something.
