Ok, so I haven't stepped foot in my parent's house in over 7 years. We have abandoned it since then b/c it wasn't liveable anymore. Snakes, rodents, and mold took over and it not to mention that we got sooo sick from the mold and stuff eating us alive. We haven't even been the same since. Ok, we had no help with FEMA or anything so that's why nothing's been done.
Ok, so some of yall know that I'm getting married soon so I just decided to go in the house. My heart was soooo broken. There are skylights where there shouldn't be, cabinets that fell in the kitchen, just utterly sadness everywhere you look! I lost my brother 3 years ago so his room was the same way he left it. I looked around and cried my eyes out -carefully not showing my mom or she would've broke down. I scavengeredly went through the drawer with many pictures and plenty of them were destroyed by rain and mold. I went to my room and you could tell that people went through our house trying to find things of value.
Plenty of my Prince CDs were missing and tooken out the cases. A lot of my valueables was gone! Gone I said! But I got some great news! I've saved a lot of money using Geico! LOL! No but what I've been promising to show yall -My mom found it and it was safe!!!!! Happy happy joy joy!!!!! I will try to post them tonight or tomorrow or may-be if I can send it by private note or e-mail. I don't want to be caught by the web-sheriff! LOL! I was such in a good mood this weekend woo hoo!!!!!

Thanks I failed to mention that a part of the ceiling fell and almost fell on my mom and me but I pulled us away just in time! LOL! Horrid story. Not to mention also that some of my Prince Cds didn't work anymore b/c of being exposed to water for so long. Some did work though and I'm happy!

Not very convincing.....someone that sad...would show it.

I always wanted to go to Minn. and promised myself to go especially after I graduated late from college in 2003 from college but since nothing's open there anymore, my plans were cut short. I also said that I wanted to go to Vegas to watch his show but that was cut b/c I couldn't afford to go. But at least I have my pictures and they weren't even touched or messed up! Wooo Hooo!!!!
