I think people would care who Wendy and Lisa are and if they didn't know who they were, they'd learn right quick, cause it IS Prince.

New fans would know and care b/c if you are a Prince fan, new or not, you've got PR and ATWIAD and PARADE and you've seen Purple Rain (the movie) and you've heard Lisa on "Head" and you've heard little girl Wendy play guitar on "Kiss" etc. The Revolution were Prince's band during his greatest artistic output. If you're a fan you've got those albums and videos etc.

Well Prince can be as posessive as I can....So I have burned all of my photograph's of my x-husband...I have thrown away all love letters...My house is clean of anything that would offend Prince whatsoever...I will never disrespect him the way she did.

There's no time limit on Crystal Ball 2 ...

As for Emancipation, he really didn't have a say in what happened to that project. EMI folded, and the Emancipation project fell thru the cracks (something similar happened with Rave/Arista). I do believe that there would've been a lot of singles off Emancipation.

The divorce thing though - that one always got me. I wasn't sure if he was just protecting his money, or if he really believed he was doing the right thing.

He has been bringing Wendy, Lisa, and Sheila E. back in the last 2 years for various recordings/performances. The Revolution name appeared on the 1999 album (albeit subdued), and the 30-year anniversary of that is in 2002. Fingers crossed!
