Because one can never get enough of that yellow, ass-less suit...

Just watched the Gett Off performance on MTV - how much do you think that set cost him? Plus, I have always enjoyed his tv performances from this album/period, but looking back now, I find it to be more along the lines of the "pro forma" material (like the Black Album), funky sho-nuff, but he always looks like he's going more from rote than funkyness, IMO. Who feels what on this?

not asking anything, so much as commenting. Not that I have anything against him expressing his sexuality, I just know that, from watching his interview with Chris Rock, he made direct reference to the idea that he would do the outlandish things on stage and in vids because he thought he had to, to get his music out. Which I why I don't mind the suits he wears these days.

Did anyone see the performance live when he first did it on tv? I'm just wondering - I would like to know what it was like to see that, and not expect it.

I did, too, and I loved it to pieces, cuz it was Prince and he had another band, so I was thinking Revolution, pt. 2. Plus, since he was in good form, his dancing and body language was kickin', and he still had the power to mesmerize entire audiences (don't know if he has that lustre anymore.)

LOL. Certain Prince pics do seem to be following that "Saturday Afternnon Sports on ABC" path, don't they?
