Anyone know the sory why she left (was kicked out of?) Prince's band? And what is she doing now?

I'm not sure if she left but more of Prince's dis-banding the LoveSexy Band. He only keeps folks around for about 2 years before he switches things up.

he was helping to groom her for a solo career for a bit, wasn't he?

i seem to remember she performed some of that "catwoman" solo music stuff at glam slam, unless i'm mistaken...

yes,he wanted to help her but I think she was more into being independent and seperating herself from the women who Prince "groomed" 4 their solo career
Even tho she wasnt a "smash" hit...I admire her 4 being smart and strong enough to step away.

He probably wanted to keep her for a side project only (Kat 6). He changed his whole band up (including Sheila) so I doubt if he would have kept her on stage.

don't know the answer but I remember partying w/her back in the day at a club called The Happy Medium in Chi-town! we used 2 close the place. non-stop dancing. BIG FUN!!! Cat - if u peep this site, just wanna say Hi & wishing u much success.
