Why Is This Song Edited?

Hey Orgers!

I just recently bought Emancipation and have been enjoying listening to it. But I'm listening to Disc 3 and for some reason, the "f" word has been edited out of Face Down.

Is it supposed to be like that, because when I bought the album, it has no indication on it that it was an edited album.

Will someone please tell me, is Face Down supposed to be editied or not.

Thanks.

Peace and B Wild.

I've seen alot of people posting about prince editing songs, but I assumed that they meant in concert

I knew there was a clean version of the Symbol album (i was very careful to buy the unedited version) but i never knew there was an edited Emancipation.
Fuck the funk - it's time to ditch the worn-out Vegas horns fills, pick up the geee-tar and finally ROCK THE MUTHA-FUCKER!! He hinted at this on Chaos, now it's time to step up and fully DELIVER!!
woot!

I heard about the edited Lovesymbol. A friend of mine got it and freaked out because half of Sexy MF had been bleeped out. LOL. He found the unedited version right quick. LOL.

I don't even remember what I paid for the Emancipation album...maybe 20 dollars tops. I bought a it and a couple other cds at once. lol I'll hunt down the unedited version.
