The "Hollywood," Prince.

If you had tuned into my earlier thread about, "The Holy River," you will already have a little background...on video's...Not necessarily the fact, but, the chance that a video is just money that is uselessly spent if it does not enhance the song.

For example..."Cream..." Yes..I love the introduction in the train station...beautiful and fun, and Hollywood drummed up....However, If you look at the earlier video's such as, "1999," or "Little Red Corvette," It was a stage....and Prince and a Purple coat...and still Prince climbs the ladder of successs...It makes you know that you could write a book about how Hollywood has destroyed the church. If a video such as "Willing and Able," is just as wonderful...you can see where a few clothes can be enough to bring the song to the heart...Hollywood doesn't have to spend a fortune to bring music to the people...they coulda just as well thrown their extra change at a man in a pin-striped suit that was working for Jesus...Thank God, Jesus was born before the movie, "Entity," came out, or else the Catholic's woulda just exorcised the kid.
