The Chocolate Invasion 7 CD SET Hi, y'all!
Most of U know what I'm talking about in the title of this thread. In 2003 it was supposed to come out, but then, problems with manufacturing emerged, so nothing happened. The set included (not necessarily in this order): - Xpectation - C-note - The Chocolate Invasion - The Slaughterhouse - One Nite Alone (piano and voice) - Glam Slam Club Mix - The War Prince made available 4 of them for download (Xpectation, C-note, Chocolate, Slaughterhouse) but this sort of aborted project makes me think that those 7 were actual cd's (I know 'The War' and 'One Nite Alone' are, but the others should be too). So the question is: were the downloadable albums actual cd's, with cover art, package and all? Thank U so much in advance.

There was no cover art or liner notes supplied with the album downloads, but covers have been used on official websites at one time or another (like in the store, or discography). If that's what you mean.

there was a photo/artist rendering of the chocolate invasion box on
the official website. it looked like one of those circular file folders you can buy in a store, to keep your compact discs in (like in the car or storage). it looked kind of like a big shiny chocolate cookie. from that, i've always concluded that the inside was probably like crystal ball or like a multi disc dvd set with those "flick thru" casings for the cd's. thus it seems rather unlikely that every album would have had it's own artwork or linernotes/booklet. perhaps they would have had a distinctly personal print on the cd like The Truth that came with the crystal ball package. but than we don't know if any were ever really made or if it was all still just a concept at the time they posted the details and the picture on the website. and true love lives on lollipops and crisps
