Free's statement about being free 4 urself is very much more soulful.

Moonbeam Level sounds like a cry.

The chants in Free, the screams, the end of it with the piano fading out is marvelous.

Even the drums are better

my vote goes 4 "moonbeam" as well..."free" is cool 2, but "moonbeam"...wow...

I lived 1999 and it worked. Moonbeams would have worked too...but it isnt as epic sounding as Free is. Moonbeam is perfect as it is..an out-take. A wonderful one too.

When you finally got a copy of Moonbeam Levels, there was probably some lyric in it that prevented you from committing suicide or shooting up somebody at school. (When I'm refering to "you" I don't mean you personally, I just mean the majority of people in that age group) And you may simple prefer Moonbeam Levels over Free. That's great. But GROWN folks who know both songs would choose Free.
