Recently (Very recently) somebody posted a beautiful color picture of Prince from "Under The Cherry Moon" (as opposed to the B&W pix we usually see from that era) on a thread here, and for the life of me I can't find it again. I'm sorry, I admit - I want to steal that photo for myself!

Anybody know what I'm talkin bout? Thank you!!

I really, really REALLY wish that UTCM had been filmed in color (or someone would take the time to colorize it) because I thinkl it would have been spectacular. Especially the scene where Prince is doing the Bella Lougosie eyes and looks like a Cabbage Patch Kids doll. It was so cute!

UTCM is one of only 5 black and white films I have.

The movie was released in processed black-and-white but was filmed in color. It was filmed on location in and around Nice, France, partly to ensure that there was good weather for filming and also to ensure that Prince was free of American film unions. The movie attempts to combine different styles and themes, including a musical, romantic comedy and drama. The film's soundtrack album, Parade, was generally much better received (particularly in Europe) than the film itself, and featured the hit single "Kiss".

I've never seen UTCM....I have no idea what it's about....I need to check it out sometime... cool pics!

You should skip the kissing scenes though....

And I agree that movie should have been made in color because I'm at the scene at the moment and the colors are absolutely amazing. Can you imagine what everything must have looked like (including him) in color??
