About 4 minutes into the song when her multi track backing vocals come in softly in the background with "can you see me, can you feel me, do you want me?", is one of those voices Prince? Sounds like he's in there somewhere...

I guess its safe to assume the sax is Eric Leads, or maybe Candy.

The Kim Basinger album isn't anything to do with Prince.

It probably is Prince. The man sitting in the chair in this background picture is Prince, I'll try to post a larger one later.

Why on EARTH would Kim Basinger want to sing anyway? Just trying to capitalize on whatever movie star status she may have had at that time? Were there previous singing aspirations? It's like Lisa Marie Presley suddenly releasing albums. Previous singing desires and aspirations, even though they were never mentioned before in her entire life? Certainly she didn't need the money, did she? Well, that actually brings to mind the Scientology factor, which may have a lot to do with it.

I have read that Prince and Kim were having alittle fling around the Batman movie and I guess he told her he could help her musically. I'll bet he used that line on a lot of women. Why else would he let her use his picture on her album cover? and NOT sue her?!

Well, maybe she always had a desire to do so and her superstar status enabled her to do just that. I am great at what I do but if that allowed me the chance to pursue one of my dreams then I would be there like shot

She had a top 5 UK hit singing with Was Not Was on Shake Your Head so someone must have liked her voice.
