How about a 'live' studio album? Was listening to 'Somebody's Somebody' live studio version this morning and it struck me how great it is. I think it'd be a good idea for P to do a live studio album.
Wouldn't mind a disc with new stuff and new interpretations of some old stuff on disc two. I bet Prince would enjoy recording something like that. What do you think? good idea or not.  |

I can't see Prince ever doing this.
His music is too layered... even if he got a shit-hot band together, they wouldn't necessary play their parts the way Prince would want them to. Very few artists can pull off live studio albums. The only one I can think of is Neil Young. | |

The only one I can think of is Neil Young. I think the only "Live" studio album that he's done (so far) are The Undertaker and NEWS. I have heard that certain trax were recorded live in studio, (especially in TRC era), but not sure about the other projects. **--••--**--••**--••--**--••**--••--**--••**--••-
