3 chains of gold I know its been discussed zillions of times (probably), but I just want to know the orgs view on this song?
Personally I use to like it alot, but its just trying too hard to be like Queens "boheimien rhapsody". It is quite hilairious, and does have a beatiful verse (the "you say you love me and then you dont" bit), but after that its downhill. Though some of the guitar work is great though. So, some great moments, ruined by some silly moments. Woulda been interesting if he did more songs like this, and it is still a song worth revisiting sometimes.

I pawned all of my gold with the exception of two rings after I heard that song. "The Lion Sleeps Tonight...

I am serious...It was a few years later...and although I kept two rings because I designed them...I kept those two for the stones...I will part with them someday...the day I decide to drop the stones into the deep blue sea...
The song inspired me...to not want any connection with jewelry...that didn't have any sentimental value...for what that's worth. It is the truth. "The Lion Sleeps Tonight...
