When was the last ime? What was the last track you heard by prince where you felt he had painstakingly crafted it and put his absolute heart and soul into it?
To my ears, I can't remember the last time I heard this in his music. Does anyone else wonder if the output of late has become almost a bit disposable in terms of quantity oppposed to perhaps quality? [Edited 7/10/08 13:18pm] | |

You might not think he's put his heart and soul into it, or liked it too much, but I think he puts his heart and soul into most of his music, that's just how he is, he probably put his heart and soul into the song Planet Earth.... I'm waiting..  | |

Gosh.. Let me think a minute honey...
He sounded pretty soulful on Somewhere Here on Earth. I don't care much for the song--don't shoot me y'all--but he does soud like he really meant everything he said in that song and that he was feeling it all. I still say SHOE sounds like a song Smokey Robinson would sing...not really Prince, but I liek that he plays with song styles.  I love a Man who:

I guess he always crafted painstakingly his music and put his absolute heart and soul into it, perhaps trying to find the best he goes over many senses and it doesn´t like many fans at all, but I´m sure he did it with heart and soul, doing it extremely with passion: love - sex - religion
