Let's Highlight Something Here.

Let's Highlight Something Here.

We Love a musician, that beneathe the guitar, and the piano, and his voice, is a man that has vase full of experiences, that have been shared in part, by Prince, through these songs.

Isn't it true...that if a man, or a woman, has a list of days...that range from things they said or shouldn't have said...things they had done, or shouldn't have done, people they loved for a moment, or people they will love a lifetime...That when we as onlookers, speak on these fragments of a life...that we are not appreciating the whole man?

I am highlighting Prince's determined spirit...to be free enough to live his life the way he chose...and give to us pieces of his heart. Prince is a man that is determined to raise the spiritual conscience of the world. Between the sex and the funk...Prince has been doing this all along.
Is that what you see in Prince?

I know this will rattle a few cages....BUT...I truly believe the "spiritual" nature of the individual determines one's response to this question. boxed

Let's face it, we're all human; we've lived during times that have chanaged rapidly--what was acceptable or not last year may/may not be acceptable this year...that's just a fact of human kind.

Anyone that makes a final and solid assessment of Prince (or anyone else for that matter) based on what was done, said, thought, etc. days, months, years ago isn't realistic or intellectually mature.

I know in our times people will try to categorize others (look at what's happening with the Obamas. Generally this is a ploy to marginalize an other.

But, if you've lived, truly lived, you know the difference between fact and fiction, you recognize that experience is the only thing that makes us who we are today and you appreciate the whole person and what they bring to your life at the present time.

You can hold on to the past and be safe and sound, although limited by the box you use to enclose the past in; or you can expand your understanding which I believe makes life more interesting.

I love Prince for what I see today, what I've heard through his music of the past and present and how he's lived life. And, yes, the whole Prince -- it's exactly what makes him capable of capturing the beauty, ugliness, sorrow and excstacy that we all identify with and love.

I agree. I thought about how often, I call a specific song that Prince sings beautiful...when it is just a word to use that lacks what the song really brings to me on many levels. And when I think of spirituality, I do think of Love, and how love incorporates the acceptance of unlimited attributes attached to a person's life...A Spiritual attitude toward life, is going to include the behavior's that people display on the planet that we have to accept to move forward as a whole. Hatred or stupidity, or all things unnecessary is not going to disappear because it is attacked...It will wither away naturally...when the World conscience realizes that the right behavior, the very best behavior, should thrive.

On the tiniest level...If we say that we don't want any excess junk in our household, from the day's garbage to one too many paper clips taking up space...

We expand to one too many stupid plastic toys on the shelf at Wall-mart, to one too many books to find available to purchase.

On the personal level...we may need to throw away an old perspective in our collection of emotions, because it was no longer beneficial to our minds, or hearts...and on a global scale, there are corporate greeds, and crowded thoughts, that do nothing but take up unnecessary space in traveling idea's that touch the people.

These excess things, and behaviors, divert us from people with dreams that are kinder, and ways of business that are better...and the world needs to make room for paradise to exist...it isn't just going to happen.
