Others Here With Us I've always wondered, how the public would react had he released this tune Its a shame, because the song is a masterpiece.
When I'm alone, my mind takes a drive Through chocolate religion and spirits alive All I was brought up in this world 2 know Is lost when a demon swallows them whole There's others here with us There's others here with us, I know It's strange how your mind works when Love is in power One learns 2 care and appreciate a flower What makes others want 2 change your mind? All the things I've seen, life is so sublime 7-month-old baby died in her sleep The parents went crazy and cried 4 a week They swore they heard her laugh in the crib by the wall They're convinced she's with us if she's anything at all Bobby had an uncle who took a string And wrapped his neck around it, a pitiful thing If only we can turn back the hands of time Except there's others here with us, life is sublime There's others here with us There's others here with us, I know (I know) All the things I've seen

Well, I think I would react in a strictly positive way and many others would be with me, I know Maybe this gem could find a place in a supposed 'Crystal ball Vol.2' 3 cd set, along with other hidden jewels such as 'Love or Money' (non-Camille version) and 'The Ball'. [Edited 7/8/08 2:14am]

This song is a testimony of Prince's hyper sensitivity.

I used to do an 80's show on the local college radio station. Every Halloween I would do the annual Halloween party. I used to play this song every year. The last year I did the show (my personal favorite Halloween special), I played it within the first segment. The first segment looked like this:
Thriller-Michael Jackson Munster's theme-Comateens Dr Heckyl and Mr Jive-Men at Work There's others here with us-Prince Mr Crowley-Ozzy Osbourne BTW, the song used to creep my girlfriend (at the time) out. [Edited 7/8/08 6:49am] Making love and music are the only things worth fighting for.

Hey now, Mr Crowley is a darn good song that has a little bit of substance to it. How many other people would sing about Allister Crowley? Plus Randy Rhodes kicks arse!! Making love and music are the only things worth fighting for.
