PRINCE IN PRISON

i know thats a strange statement, but has Prince put himself, and his creativity in a prison, by becoming a jehovah witness, among other things he's done in the last 12 yrs since splitting from Warner Bros. i mean is he truly emancipated? like he said he would be. I don't think that nothing could hold him back if he just choose to release himself and be the free spirit that he was. Everyone know all he need to do is just release a good slow sultry jam, and its over, he'll blow all of this wanna b's out of the water. But i think what holding himself back is a lot of pain he has locked inside, pain from sour relationships, record labels, death of child, parents, fickle fans, etc , given all of that a person would probally choose to give only 50% of himself, but think of how sweet it would be he decides to release it all like he use to. And it's cool if he chooses not to ever do that, but it would be sweet if he did, be he's still there waiting to erupt like a Volcano....does the song P-FUNK come to mind? peace, love and sex

To paraphrase Prince himself. " This is where he wants to be . . . "
I don't want you to think like me. I just want you to think.

I do not believe that Prince is in a creative prison. We are all in the prison of our own perspectives perhaps. We have freedom to say and do what we want to do...

The freedom's we allow ourselves become narrower as we mature. If I allowed myself to be the same girl I was at nineteen....I'd call myself a stupid premiscuous slut. I however, was blessed with experience that led me to Christianity. I sit here proudly 23 years later, knowing that all that I can have, is not profitable spiritually anymore.

I believe that person's that have excess amounts of money and the places and people they attend...can lead to the same place, a desperate and hungry vagabond could reach. Some lessons in life just have a different price tag on them.

There are criminals from the bottom to the top. Lonely hearts from the bottom to the top. Sexual temptations exist from Hollywood to the local dive around the corner from where you live.

A woman can cheat on her husband on a yacht or in the backseat of a car at a junk yard. When life comes right down to it in the third judgement...It will be your soul that is evaluated. Make no mistakes...the sweet things in life, can ruin your smile.

I agree he has been a bit fickle and easily bored, but he's never strayed in his faith in GOD.

Prince lost his edge and the anger in his music over the years. there are only so many creative notes inside one person. He hasn't done anything exciting since TRC
