Calhoun - you MUST hear this song. It's about 26 minutes long but absolutely unbelievable. There's some singing, some chanting, some messages that make you scratch your head... and a guitar solo at the end It's kind of eerie, but as the same time very mellow, which is why I am able to put it on repeat and listen to it for hours. Soothing, too, in a weird kind of way. I got it off of WinMX - I don't know if it's available for download off Kazaa. Just another reason why Natsume is damn cool (even if she does hate rain); she gets "The War"! I just discovered that I have a live version of The War on the Cafe de Paris boot (that I never listen to, lol). Does it compare to the studio version? Is there a studio version??

The version I have is a live one too, I'm not sure if there's a studio version, but the NPGMC sent it out a long time ago. I downloaded mine from that Napster relic. I don't know if my version is what everyone has, but it sounds like there's some studio tinkering on it. I hear something that sounds like backwards masking at the 22:20 mark. This post not for the wimp contingent. All whiny wusses avert your eyes.

And I still hate the rain I'm not sure if your version is the same as mine - I think mine is the official NPGMC version that I got off of the old WinMX. There's no audience sound to speak of, and it's a bit longer than yours. Another reason I love it - I can put it on and do homework because it's not distracting, plus it's so long I don't need to fiddle with changing songs. I mean, like, where is the sun?

that exquisite double set of We Can Funk followed by Joy In Repetition. I'm already hypnotized as We Can Funk reaches a climax, then I drift blissfully into Joy In Repetion ...
I also drift away on his longer songs, such as America extended, The War and Scandalous Sex Suite... The strangest thing happened when I received the war. I woke up from an intense dream of being in a war where society had moved underground, then found The War in my mail box. The song described the dream perfectly. Life it ain't real funky unless you got that orgPop.
