One of my favourite tv performances of prince is his performance of Dolphin on letterman I love how effortlessly he plays that great guitar solo. I think he has his best haircut on this performance aswell the gold era haircut . I also think its hillarious when prince pretends to shoot himself by making a gun signal with his hand towards his head and at the end you hear dave asking if hes alright no dave hes just blown his head off with his hand.

Does anyone else like this performance??

Oh Man, I remember watching that and wondering what was Letterman thinking when he asked that dumb question. It was a very great performance but I am still reeling over the RRHOF performance and Turn Me Loose on Leno. They are two of my personal favorites.

The American Idol Performance. Flawless.

"Do Me Baby" from Homecoming 1983 is incredible.

"If I Was Your Girlfriend" from the SOTT Live DVD is absolutely bad ass. It moves me just to hear music that amazing.

"Fury" from SNL in 2006 was kicking. That's a recent favorite for sure.

There's an incredible live version of "Just As Long As We're Together" on one of the City Lights boots....possibly Atlanta or Paris.

He did a version of Endorphinmachine on some European talk show that was just fucking KILLER!!!!

He absolutely murdered that shit. It was one of those performances where you go "Why couldn't he have done this shit on American T.V."???

I'm also a big fan of his performance of Fury.

Of course you can't go wrong with his performance of Purple Rain at the '85 AMA's as well.

I also loved his entire performance at The Rock & Roll Hall of Fame. That whole night was a testament to Prince's talent & ability!!!

a favorite TV performance of mine is when he did "Electric Chair" on a special edition of "Saturday Night Live"....he was in a zone that night and just seemed HAPPY...great performance...

My favorite performance was with Prince standing a few feet from me at the jazz club in Vegas singing Satisfied

I saw the Lovesexy a couple of weeks back, and loved the way Cat did her thing gotta love the cat scat! This one part during the performance (which I thought was very funny) was when Mr.Nelson grabs a b-ball and hits a jumper. You must have a fan base if you can just play b-ball in the middle of a performance. The Purple Don is to fly like paper with his name written on it

I like the Superbowl performance. I also really liked it when he performed with Beyonce at the Grammys in 2004.
