Let me see. How would I rate Prince.....

As Prince, himself, as suggested. He is the Mozart of our time. This is my theory:

Prince is the Wagner of our time. And Wagner was pretty badass. Yet he was a racist asshole. Prince: You are a prejudice against everyone who is not a JW. That is why you sue, right? You basically play your shit and snub your nose the whole time. No one really catches on right? Yet you hate everyone. My only conclusion, hence, is that you're a real piece of work, an ass. You can create, but your actions will long live your music.

Question is, do you put faith in reviews? I mean, when a movie sucks across the board of reviewers, are you that person who digs it? Do you have fucked up taste? My point is simple. Prince nowadays makes bad music (i.e., if you don't believe me, do you believe all the critics, all of them!?). And worse, he makes bad music only once every three or so years. Worse than that, he sues his fans and doesn't post his old music on youtube which would only help fans forget about his horrible current music.
