If you're going to change your name, make it something that people can pronounce...

A person can risk all of their personality, for the public...pour their heart's out through music...in an incredibly talented way...And some folx will try to hurt you with their words...just to try to knock you down...And other's will respect an artist has been themselves..

Prince has taught me...that expressing yourself musically...Is not only creative and beautiful, open and controversial, stylish and inspirational...This kind of career is true bravery.

To be different, do your own thing, go the opposite way on the cogwheel to everyone else, well I don't know if I learned that from him exactly, I think it's just how I am, but he makes it all OK!! biggrin

man, he has such an amazing body of music that it's sad to see him constrict it down to the basics. he's too talented for the lineup he's doing. estelle 81

Never ever give up hope on love and what matters closest to you. He taught me at an early age that sex is never taboo whatever anyone says. He has made life more bearable for my household chores, with his music playing but with a bit more interest in the lyrics than the clothes. Takes a different spin on ironing sheets now!...

Turning down the bed right now....

1] that love rules
2] to be fearless in fulfilling my goals and in life in general
3] to always, always, always be true to myself
4] to be free [which is facilitated by 2 & 3]

That something like love (a concept I don't necessarily agree actually exists, but it's the best name for it) should never be used to blackmail, hurt or expect anything of anyone.....

So look into the mirror, do u recognise some1? Is it who u always hoped u would become, when u were young?
