PrintableI have yet to see an explanation of the Biblical reference of the lion of Judah that makes any sense whatever.
The song does have one rather brilliant line, however, that being the one about being past his expiration date. Nice turn of phrase, that.  We don’t mourn artists because we knew them. We mourn them because they helped us know ourselves. | |

but his awful nasal ass voice ruined it all  I hate to be a whining old fud, but I kind of agree with this. His uncharacteristically out-of-tune vocals on the this one, "All The Midnights" and to a lesser extent "Resolution" is the only thing that stops me from hailing Planet Earth as one of his best.
