Lately I've been much more into Tori Amos. Why? Let's see, she doesn't try to sue people who have taken the time to put up a website that shows how much we admire her. You know what else she does? Before her soundcheck at EVERY show (weather permitting), she meets fans outside the venue, signs autographs, let's people take pictures and talks a little. Imagine that! All you gotta do is wait outside the venue for a few hours. This is my medince for Prince. I love Prince and his music, but lately I've realized that he holds on a little too tightly to the love he can extend to us. Yes, Prince is great and I can't wait to hear One Night Alone live, but sometimes he makes me feel like I'm not supposed to appreciate him. Because: From what should live artists if not from theyr artistery? ... If I like an artwork and I got to pay for, this is okay for me...  -
It is my thing if I can't accept that reality or can not effort art. Yes, it can me make sad, but I got to deal with that feels. And if there're artists they want share theyr music with me for free, I appreciete that very much and love it, but I love the others the same do respect decision. I say NO to piratery! | |
