Who gives a damn who some old corporate farts pick as the "LIKE TEH SEXIARSTTT MANSS ALIVESSS!!1" in one magazine or another? It doesn't matter one fucking bit.

And I agree with some of the previous assesments that the way Prince handles things, his way, might piss some people off, and thus he won't get included in any of their lists.

Again, these lists mean nothing.

I guess there is a BIG CONFUSSION ABOUT SEXY AND BEAUTY !!!!
It´s the same with females.
His image doesn't fit in the categories beauty male that the comercial business demands: he´s not tall, he´s very thin
But for me what a sexy man must have a high sensuality as Prince offers us, the way he looks, he talks... inclusive the mistery that he proposes with a appearance too feminine.
And one thing more, most of the times the "people beauty f/m" when they open their mouths they really surprise us: nuts ...

Prince is sexy in a whole different kind of way. I am not saying he is bad to look at. He just does not have that kind of sex appeal to me. Prince is sexy the way he walks, talks, dress(sometimes), & performs.

Prince has not been featured as one of the Sexiest People because he's unconventionally good looking. By that I mean he kinda looks like a hairy girl. His appeal is definitely a niche one.

People magazine tends to only features the hotties that have the broadest appeal, and Prince is just not one of them.

If I recall correctly, by the time People magazine first started naming their Sexiest Man Alive, Prince was past the height of his commercial popularity, and these "titles" are usually made in conjunction with commercial projects or strong current viability. Prince hasn't really had that in the view of general public since the mid-80s with the possible exception of the Diamonds and Pearls era. As for his sexual appeal, it is definitely an acquired taste; his looks and sexual appeal would be considered, to put it generously, unusual by many.
