ive just made a P cd for my step-dads mother...... Well my step-dads mother is very religous and yesterday we were talking about music and i happened to mention P,the disscusion went on 4 a while(basically she thought his songs were all about sex etc) and i told her about his religous songs and that p's very religous also. So yesterday i made her a cd and gave it 2 her earlier and shes just rang to say she "loved it"

I like the selections even I don't think I'd have put reincarnation (Dolphin) in the mix. But without changing the song selection I would have sequenced them differently. to switch it up some, I'd put The CROSS ( lovesexy dortmund LIVE version) On there....
the original is good, but that version ROCKS, and you can hear the audience go crazy. i FOUND that is songs are good, but live versions, due to his playing and the audience energy makes it a better listening experience. I especially like when they say " the crosssss" and start applauding, that is a very powerful moment. I dont know if u had that, but i think it shows that he is a great live performers and his fans are very aware and intune with his spirituality.....at least back then. i feel all compilations should have at least one or two live songs on 'em | |
