how many of u have "introduced" otherz 2 P's musik or taken a "newbee" 2 his concert? I luv 2 watch the conversion of some1 who hasn't had the chance 2 c himn b/4, when seeing him 4 the 1st time. never had a bad xperience yet. they all luv it & remark at the nrgy & sustanance he has. just curious.

I have done this several times,including taking my sons. Most of the people I have taken were 'lukewarm' fans who were familiar with the "hits". Once they see P, they are all impressed with his showmanship and playing ability. The one common reaction is surprise as to how many good songs he played that they had never/rarely heard (except when they are in my car) and the fans' reaction to these.

I do everybody who knows me, they know about Prince and the most of them are fan now

I introduced my best friend to Prince and several of my other friends to him and they all have a genuine interest in him and love him.

My best friend went from knowing solely "Purple Rain" to knowing all the hits...and she can actually do the "Bob George" voice. LOL!

Last year I met a younger musician of 25 years old...He was familiar with Prince, although he never owned Prince's records. I played "The Rainbow Children." for him...and he was intently listening, and said that he would purchase the record when he returned to New York.
