Pink Cashmere is fucking ace. It makes me wonder the decision making process of leaving tracks like this unreleased for so long and releasing other tracks that most would agree were 'inferior'.

I saw him play this at Wembley Arena in '95 as per the "hits" version with the nice guitar solo

This solo is fantastic, but what's always intrigued me in the interplay between the strings and the guitar. Prince and Clare Fisher never met, so one of them had to play something and send it to the other.

I wonder if Prince composed the solo around Fisher's strings, or vice versa?

No matter what, I do love this song.

^ not entirely sure , but i got a "demo" version of the track with keyboards in place of the strings. the strings work better though, love how them and the guitar mesh so well together
