i loved this era with the xception of the named mani
but the music was on fire!!! and the show itself was out of this world!!! the soundchecks 4 the fans ..the setlist was 4 the hardcore..the aftershows were hot!!! and the celebration at paisley man, he has such an amazing body of music that it's sad to see him constrict it down to the basics. he's too talented for the lineup he's doing. estelle 81

Oooh, I'd love to see a larger version of the one with him surrounded by people (is it a soundcheck?) I need to see it in more detail, research you understand

It is from the celebration in 2000 or 2001... After the tour during the day we were brought into studio A to chill and listen to Rainbow children (before it was released). Then we would go into another room and Kevin Smith would start asking us questions about music, faith, the business, etc. Prince joined in during the middle of each session except for two...of course one of the two was the session I was in. Larry G. was chillin' and watching ours and Kevin did mention the P was watching us. This was one of the sessions. I believe this one and another one was held in the the front of Paisley Park (outside of the kitchen / under the skylight). The session I was in was held in the NPG listening room. It was sooo boring and a lot fo folks left 1/2 way through....wow...it was hot and boring...You go there to tour Paisley Park and the next thing you know we were in a JW video. It was cool to tour Paisley Park but keep in mind...if we get a chance to celebrate again...tour it everyday. Soem days this section was cut off and the next day it was open....on and on... Thanks Prime! Wow, that must have been an amazing experience, not sure about the 'sessions' though, I can see it might have been a tad boring, although not if Prince was sitting there, I'd just be happy to be in the same room as him Why am I thinking of 'The Hole' - just kidding!! I'd LOVE to tour PP, although it's beginning to look like it's not really on the radar so much nowadays would you say? So, what was Prince like? Was he friendly, happy? Did you get to TALK to him!! Oh PS What's the kitchen like???!! [Edited 5/14/08 2:23am]

"The Rainbow Children," era, is one that is timeless I would say....Believeing in "One World" that we all share...Is something that the children of God will see 2 every morning.
I guess it's Love work, that is serious, busy, dedicated, and fun. "A Harvest for the World," "Heaven On Earth." Is serious business...however...drying the tears of the last child that is crying...Should make the richest person in the world just as happy. Good Luck to us all....Bringing this Love through. There is another picture like this from another day that I am in. Unfortunately Prince didn't show up to my secession but it was all good. Touring Paisley Park everyday and party all night...hanging out with Common and Prince standing 3 feet from me....what a week....BRING IT BACK PRINCE [Edited 6/23/08 6:18am] Prime aka The Kid
