TV One will be showing Purple Rain, 9:00 pm on TV One (cable) channel 90 on the East Coast (NYC), at 7:00 pm Eastern time.

On West coast Purple Rain will be shown on TVONE channel 162 @ 6PM & re-airs on same chanel @ 12:30AM

Cool, thanks, I'll be sure to tune in. The thing I hate about when TVOne shows "Purple Rain" is that they cut it up and take out some of the good parts.

I just hate watching PR on a TV channel. I almost threw my TV out the back door when I caught the movie on AMC and they cut Computer Blu in half! Right during the solo!


Oh I was pissed off. The next day I went and bought the movie on DVD.













(Then two weeks later I got the widescreen 2 disc version.)

Tv will edit out apples titties and they will edit out Prince and apples all hot and Prince's hand between apples legs. And too many commercials means too much editing.

While watching Purple Rain last night, I have come to realize that one of my favorite scenes is when Prince sees Apollonia for the first time. Prince comes around the corner, sees Apples standing there, and just looks at her with his big eyes. Apples kinda gives him a smile as if to say "Why hello there". Then Prince goes and stands behind Apples, puts his shades on, and just stands there looking at her, without saying anything. I just love that scene for some reason.

I thought yesterday was saturday and TODAY was sunday. It just dawned on me that its monday.
