my friend and I were just talking about this last week.
He said purple rain seems like the song where you drive to a cliff and make out with your girlfriend. I disagreed because when I first heard Purple Rain it was at a funeral and therefore it is a depressing song to me and it does make me cry on occasion | |

Oh god yes!! Everytime he comes out w a new cd i cry...he is SOOOOO beautiful!!! I cry pretty much everytime i listen 2 holy river...also "i cant make u love me", Electric Intercourse, And my all time favorite "the Beautiful Ones". Yes, when I listened to a 14 min. live version of Purple Rain (Don't remember where it's from exactly). I don't know why, but it made me tear up for some reason.
