WOW did this thread spin off like a loose wheel! Let me draw it all back to simple basics, not necessarily to influence what any of you choose to believe about whether he's married - sounds like most folks' minds are already made up one way or the other - but simply to say, this is where *I* was/am coming from:

I do not judge marriage by having documentation issued by some governing beurocracy. I do not judge marriage by whether wedding photos exist. I do not judge by a raised seal, a cake, or anything else except the plain fact that if the man said so himself, is going around introducing her as his wife, and from what I hear they had to have been convincing as such, then as far as I am concerned they are, and I require nothing further to say OK.

The way I see it, no man would parade around with a woman and proclaim she is his wife unless he either really feels that strongly about it, or has some convoluted hidden motive. I have learned over the years it is healthier for me in the long run never to over-care or over-analyze what motivates Prince's decision making processes when things start to get THAT convoluted.

Based on such experiences I must conclude that if he said it because he really feels that strongly, then so be it, she's his wife. Done. If, however, he turns out to really not feel that way but has instead some convoluted internal motive to lie, then I really just start to rapidly care less and less about why. He's off on a trip again maybe. Who knows? I don't want to know. I think it is unhealthy to want to know TOO much anyway. It's his own business why he would say such a thing if it in fact were not (quote/unquote) ""true"", who cares? Let him have at it either way. He will soon do something completely new and different for everyone to be all freaked out over anyway

In closing, my 2 cents: If Prince says she is his wife, that's good enough for me to adress her as such. I don't care what his reasons are. If he said to me, "this is my wife" OK that's her alright. Done. Maybe I am too simple a guy but there it is :d

What the heck?! Why wouldn't Prince want to be married? Who would lie about it? I mean he is over 40 years old and has been "partying" for half of his life. Don't you think he would want to settle down and find a wife?

I think that most men who have had their pick of woman most of their grown life, when they settle down, tend to pick a woman who they can "make love" to, not just f_ _ ck...a woman who respects herself, who is an honest, good woman. Some men even look for that "Proverbial" woman.

I hope he is married. I hope he has kids soon. That's what life is about. Enjoying each precious moment you can with your loved ones.
