Is it about time Prince retired? The man has worked his ass of since he was 18 years old, touring, and recording almost every year. Im exhausted for him!
I dont think he has anymore new great music in him anyway. I hope he takes a good long rest, maybe even calling it quits. He cant go on forever like this. It would be cool if he finds a nice place to rest, let his hair down, stop wearing makeup and get fat watching tv, i could picture him sitting on an old sofa chair wearing a tomato stained muscle shirt, with his wig and cheetos tossed on the floor somewhere. Prince cannot retire..unless (as mentioned above) he dies. The man lives, eats, sleeps, dreams, thinks, and breathes music. If he stopped making music, what would there be left of him? I'm sure lots of things would be left for him..but that's what he lives for..music. Music is what comes naturally to him and makes him happy..why should he stop because he's getting older?? Maybe you would retire rest, let your hair down and get fat but your not in his position. Dude loves music and has a some what exciting lifestyle ;God's blessed him to be the musician that he is and i dont see him stopping that for no one | |

Prince does rest. What do you think 21 days in London was about? No touring, one place for almost a month. Playing music and making a ton of money, 2 things he likes to do. At the Rio.. close to home (LA now) no touring for months, playing music and making a ton of money. He has his ways of slowing down in his old age. Cochella, one gig close to home, 4 million dollar payday. You can call this semi retirement for him | |
