I remember years ago Prince saying other than Kiss there was nothing he was particularly proud of on Parade .

Thats not too far fetched...according to DMSR and Susan Rogers(?), after Parade etc was in the can etc Prince was supposedly laying face down sort of kickin his legs because he thought the whole product-project was a failure, not worthy etc..Im paraphrasing from DMSR and that may not even be the truth but still..my DMSR isnt unpacked but I distinctly remember that part. I gotta find that book again.

The only album Prince has ever said he wasn't satisfied with when it was released was Parade. It wasn't because any of the songs were crap or anything, he just didn't feel that the album was finished properly before it hit the shelves.

One track that Prince a; thought wasn't finished, & b; didn't fit on the album was Kiss. So if Prince had been given more time to finish the album, we may never have heard it.

Prince did recognise that it was a great song, so I'm sure it would have surfaced at some point. It probably would have been included on Dream Factory instead.
