Today I was feeling a bit down due to the fact that it is now winter here In Australia and I was Freezing my butt off walking down the street, so I decided to listen to some Prince on my MP3 player.....The best thing I could have done!! He definantly cheered me up Thanks P ANd there is a funny thing that happens whenever Im having a really bad day or Im worried about something, I will walk into a store and all of a sudden I can hear a Prince song playing on the instore radio Its been happening for years...strange but true Are there times when listening to Prince in particular helps make u feel good? Or am I just a raving lunatic that needs to stay the heck away from the purple kool aide????

Nahhh U R not a ravin' lunatic (well in a good way tho').Princes music does cheer me up but yet some songs make me sad as I think of past lost loves. I 2 hear Prince alot in stores,I think its cause we recognise his music so fast.The other day I walked in 2 edit friendly Wal Mart and heard "Black Sweat" and I was like WTF and No Way.
Do stay away from the purple kool aide tho' I hear its bad 4 your health

Absolutely. Prince has so much music for so many moods and somewhere in his "arsenal", he's got a song that fits where I am more times than not. When I hear his songs on the radio, I get so energized, even if it's a song as old as "I Wanna Be Your Lover", it gets me charged up.
