I would say that a good majority of my Prince albums are in cassette form. From the first album to "The Gold Experience".

Wow, I can't believe we're being nostalgic about cassettes! I'm so old...

I had every album from 'For You' to 'Emancipation' on cassette, plus I had "The Greatest Romance Ever Sold" on cassette in '99 (hey, it was like 49 cents and my car at the time had a cassette player). I also had a truckload of his 80s and 90s singles on cassette. They're all still somewhere in a box in my parents' house unless my Mom snuck and threw them away.

I think 'Emancipation' was his last album released on cassette, although 'Rave' and 'The Vault' might have been. Anybody know?

I once owned 'For You' to 'Come' on cassette as it was my primary choice of music during the 80-s and early 90's.....

But then around 93 or so... the great swipe happened. i.e. someone stole all my cassettes and CDs I owned at the time.

My collection was never the same... again. Too much nostalgia was gone
