i know that this album was one of his worst but i always has a fondess 4 this tune. i always thought it was a wonderful song.

lovely song, but i find it strange, i wasnt aware he left.

I really enjoy the sound of the song...Although it's kind of sad...The music itself is uplifting.

It's on New Power Soul. It's one of the few songs on NPS that I dig. It's beautiful and sad all at once. A lot of people look at this song as a song about lost love but in my honest opinion, I've always thought this song was about Prince talking about his baby. I always got that vibe that he was singing it to his baby that he lost, especially considering when this song/album came out, 1998. I could be wrong but it makes sense to me.

Is it really a New Power Generation album considering there's a big on the album cover which was his name at the time, & he's the only one on the album cover? Regardless though 4 this album he's very much a part of the New Power Generation, isn't he listed as part of the band in the liner notes and not featuring or special guest, plus we all know it's credited 2 the NPG in case it flopped commercially as he was experimenting with different distributing ideas at the time.
